MineCat was a Minecraft roleplay server that tried to recreate Catalonia in Minecraft. It started on 2012 and since the end of 2015 I became the Lead Plugin Programmer (Java)
Later on 2Q 2016 i also became the Community Manager and the Gameplay Designer.
Before 2015 I collaborated in building on the server.

About the Server
The server consisted on a place where players could meet, chat and play with other people for free. They also could go to the mines to get money and resources to later buy a house on a city or decide to buy a place to build its own town.
The server had a full train and road network where players could use to travel across the map.
The server also had events like the Olympic MineCat Games where we prepared some minigames for the players and gived medals to the best players of each minigame.
We had a webpage and a forum where players used to post suggestions, questions, and some other things so I worked on syncing both accounts, the forum ones and the minecraft ones to be able to reward players who used the forum and show its achievements on the webpage.
During some years the server was closed temporally to improve the quality of it, by giving more interesting gameplay adding more places and interactions and some other things, like adding vehicles where players could buy and travel faster or automatizing the mines using the server clock.
On December 2022 we decided to end our services due the lack of time, but you can still see our old post on the social networks and download the server, worlds and other extra things at our archive.
